Expertise:

  • Strategic Planning: Applying traditional strategic inputs — key stakeholders’ feedback, external competitive landscape, and market analysis — with an emphasis on tangible short-term, three-year execution to build a solid foundation for long-term sustainable growth.

  • Turnarounds: Defining with Leadership: 1) how the organization’s Vision translates to the present, 2) the most effective path forward, and 3) first steps along that journey. This process will pivot the organization from disorder and/or financial losses to alignment and financial breakeven or even better.

  • Organizational Structure: Working with Leadership will identify: 1) the optimum balance of staffing (insourcing vs outsourcing), 2) where to place the emphasis and immediate resources, 3) related accountabilities and goals, 4) cost optimization and driving expense out of administration and overhead and into revenue generating programs, 5) what needs to be deferred (why/how long?), 6) what needs to begin, and equally important, 7) what needs to end.

  • Cultural Change: Based on a keen understanding of the current environment and behaviors, assist Leadership in advancing the team toward the enterprise’s stated values and intentions with the end result a transformational strategic alignment of staff and brand optimally positioned to advance Mission and Vision.

  • Business Process Review: An essential solutions-oriented step to increase the efficiency and/or effectiveness across an organization that reviews processes and tools — from emerging technology to customer/donor engagement, and information reporting to accelerated workflows.

Key(s) to Great Client Relationships: The key to a great relationship and outcome is communication — clear and consistent — from initial statement of holistic goal through each progressive building block element to achieve the mutually agreed outcome.

Purpose Statement: I hope to help open doors for people and teams to reach greater levels of fulfillment, whether that means success, satisfaction, or any other ideal of achievement or enlightenment.

Success Looks Like: Knowing at the end of each day that you gave your all, what you could give, as your best, nothing more, nothing less.

What I LOVE: My wonderful partner and amazing kids, sailing, scuba, travel and experiencing the world and its peoples, sport (volleyball!), games and puzzles, adventuring and tinkering.

Fun Facts: With my partner, we plan on raising our youngest three boys on a 50’ Prout Quasar, sailing catamaran, exploring the oceans and places that touch the water. Oh, and I shook the hand of a Catholic saint, twice. Hoping that helps ward off Poseidon.
