• Streamline and Document Accounting Processes:  Establish accounting policies with particular attention to organization-wide equity, development of staff roles and responsibilities, coupled with the provision of documentation to provide continuity and retain historical knowledge.

• Accounting Details:  Full life cycle accounting management, including but not limited to management of restricted revenues, monthly reconciliations, joint cost allocations and presentation, as well as assumptions for required accounting estimates.

• Develop Financial and Safeguard Policies:  Institute forward thinking investment and banking policies to promote stable growth, Board confidence and access to short-term cash; implement physical and electronic protections by way of establishing vendor relations, insurance coverage, and staff training; in addition to installing expense policies that reflect organizational objections and mission statement.

• Audit, Management, and Internal Controls: Install or fine-tune monthly and annual audit schedules; review and refine internal control procedures, approval processes and spending limits; including providing staff training and support.
